St. Elizabeth Cancer Care provides many programs to help anyone dealing with cancer, including a Breast Cancer Support Group and A Time to Heal. Expressions of Art & Hope partners with LUX Center for the Arts to offer survivors the opportunity to explore self-expression and reflection to help with the challenges of diagnosis, treatment and beyond.
Car Seat Fitting
We offer a one-on-one car seat fitting with a certified car seat instructor. You will learn how to properly install your car seat and secure your child for a minimal fee. PLEASE BRING YOUR CAR SEAT WITH YOU.
Childbirth, Babies and Parenting
Whether you are expecting your first child or already have children, we offer a large variety of classes to help you. First-time expectant parents can take a tour of our Advanced Baby Center™. Others may wish to take a tour with their children who are waiting for a new brother or sister.
Our online breastfeeding class provides busy parents with information on breastfeeding in the comfort of your home. Our online childbirth class helps busy parents-to-be learn at your own pace in preparation for your baby’s birth.
Health and Wellness
A variety of classes that can help you focus on staying healthy, including diabetes and emphysema and COPD.
On Saturday, June 4, Celebrity Chef Curtis Aikens will share heathly eating tips and his favorite low-carb, full-flavor recipes during our next Diabetes Update class.
Heart Care Support Groups
No one takes care of your heart like St. Elizabeth and Nebraska Heart. We have a variety of heart healthy classes offered at both locations, including a heart failure support group and a heart healthy dating class.
Power of Pink
When breast cancer is detected early, it is most treatable. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women. We encourage all women to be informed about breast cancer screening guidelines and to follow their health care provider's recommendation about screenings.
