Building Healthier Communities

Cancer survival rates dramatically increase with early detection of the disease. Our outreach team is saving lives by offering early cancer screenings to people that wouldn't have access to the service otherwise.

They are building awareness about the importance of cancer prevention and early detection. And, they are also reducing gaps in health care through increased access to cancer screenings for uninsured, underinsured and persons without primary care providers.

Their outreach supports the Saint Elizabeth mission by fostering healthier communities and providing compassionate care to those in need. Our Outreach team offers free, cancer screenings throughout the year, and they ensure that any positive screenings receive the next level of diagnostic testing.

Providing Compassionate Cancer Care
Our team is instrumental in helping our patients navigate through the health care system. They work to remove any barriers to care that arise for patients and their families, whether it is transportation to care, translation services, insurance, or fear of the health care system.

Our Outreach Navigator can help you by:

  • Coordinating care with support services throughout the community
  • Connecting patients with transportation resources
  • Arranging translation services
  • Identifying sources of financial support
  • Providing emotional support and understanding
  • Coordinating appointments with physicians and other care providers
