Stroke Center

A stroke is brain damage caused by a blocked or bleeding artery in the brain. The American Stroke Association estimates that nearly 800,000 people will suffer a new or recurrent stroke this year.

Demonstrating Commitment to Quality Care for Stroke Patients
We were awarded the highest level of recognition for our commitment to excellent stroke care from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association.

We received the Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Award and are the only hospital in the state to be recognized as a recipient of the association’s Target: Stroke Honor Roll. Both awards demonstrate our ability to be ready at any time to treat stroke patients as quickly as possible. Click here to read more
