Maternity Center Tours & Classes

Take a Tour

Free tours of the St. Elizabeth Maternity Center are available to help you become familiar with our award-winning care and know where to go prior to your baby's arrival. You will see our healing and nurturing environment with spa-style suites and whirlpools behind French doors, family bistro and family-friendly areas. One Saturday a month, we offer a family tour designed for parents with children.

Maternity Classes

You want to be as prepared as possible for the arrival of your little one—our classes will give you the skills and information you need to create a happy, healthy future for baby and yourself. All childbirth classes are taught by nationally certified childbirth educators.

Plan to take your classes during your second and third trimesters. We recommend registering early.


Lamaze— Register online.
Four-week class teaches childbirth preparation and healthy birth practices. You will gain knowledge, build confidence and practice labor coping techniques for pain such as relaxation, breathing patterns, positions and the use of support. 

Lamaze Express — Register online.

Two-week course emphasizes active participation of both partners and provides childbirth preparation. Learn a variety of childbirth techniques for relaxation, breathing and coping with labor. Other topics covered include medications/types of anesthesia, the labor and delivery process and postpartum care.

Online Childbirth Class— Register online.
Helps busy parents-to-be learn at their own pace in preparation for baby's birth. Learn about lamaze, labor support, caring for yourself postpartum and newborn care. 


Breastfeeding— Register online.
Two-week class that prepares you for success by teaching different techniques, as well as how to build your milk supply and pumping breast milk. 

Online Breastfeeding Class— Register online.
Our online breastfeeding class provides busy parents with information on breastfeeding at their own pace, in the comfort of their home.

Infant Care and CPR
